The Steffi Dotson Service Award

The Board of Direc­tors of The Furni­ture Society is pleased to announce that the 2022 Steffi Dotson Service Award is being given to Bart Niswonger.

Bart Niswonger has loyally served the Furni­ture Society as a heavily-involved commu­nity member, board member, and Board Pres­i­dent. However, most rele­vant to this award is the tire­less work that Bart has done for us long after the end of his Board term. Bart has contin­ued to assist with all things relat­ing to our website, online systems, and member­ship orga­ni­za­tional systems, meeting with and advis­ing us on a regular basis. Not only did Bart develop and launch our new website, he helped us shift to virtual plat­forms during the pandemic. Read more…
