Emily Banas is the Assistant Curator of Decorative Arts and Design at the RISD Museum. She received an MA in Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture from the Bard Graduate Center in 2015, and an MA in Art and Museum Studies from Georgetown University in 2012. Her interests span from 18th-century decorative arts to 21st-century craft and design, and everything in between.
