Sarah Marriage

Sarah Marriage is Associate Editor at Woodcraft Magazine and a maker of fine furniture and other wooden objects. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Sarah studied architecture at Princeton University and fine woodworking at The College of the Redwoods (now The Krenov School). She has taught at The Krenov School, Penland School of Craft, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, and Anderson Ranch Arts Center. She is the founder and president of A Workshop of Our Own, a Baltimore-based educational woodshop for women and nonbinary students. She loves writing about woodworking and craft, and her work has featured in Woodcraft Magazine, American Craft Magazine, and Works and Days Quarterly among other publications.
