Curtis Buchanan

Curtis Buchanan has made his living as a greenwood chair maker since 1984. He taught for many years, but now prefers to spend most of his shop time carving utilitarian spoons and immersing himself in his current obsession: the making of the finest chair possible, with the fewest tools possible, out of the simplest sourced materials possible, then sharing it all through plans and instructional videos in true democratic fashion.
