For the second year in a row, the Vermont Wood­work­ing School recog­nizes the impor­tance of their students belong­ing to a commu­nity and orga­ni­za­tion that supports the field in which they have chosen to study and create a poten­tial career for them­selves. We are thrilled to feature and high­light these 3rd semes­ter students this week.

Boyd Boyd

After many years as a profes­sional hair stylist, Boyd decided to pivot their career and apply their artis­tic talent to wood­work­ing. In spring semes­ter of 2022 they started with Vermont wood­work­ing school.They are excited about the wood­work­ing world and are looking forward to expand­ing their knowl­edge and expe­ri­ence with this sustain­able medium.

Calla Bilhorn

Orig­i­nally from Wiscon­sin, Calla located in Vermont to study furni­ture design and fine wood­work­ing at the Vermont Wood­work­ing School (VWS). Prior to attend­ing VWS and embark­ing on a career in wood­work­ing, Calla worked as a photog­ra­pher, graphic designer, and illustrator.
