After graduating from the Cabinet & Furniture Making program at North Bennet Street School (NBSS) in 1996, Claire was a self-employed furniture maker, for ten years, taking commissions for high-end residential and commercial clients. During that time, she also taught furniture making in multiple Boston area adult education programs. In 2000, she became an Instructor in the NBSS Cabinet & Furniture Making program and taught for six years. She was hired by Miguel as Provost at NBSS in 2007. Claire also holds an M.S. in Higher Education from Drexel University and a B.S. from Emerson College.
