James Zemaitis
James Zemaitis is Director of Museum Relations at R & Company in New York. He specializes in American and European design, decorative arts and craft and has curated exhibitions at the gallery ranging from Evelyn Ackerman to Marcel Breuer. xFrom 2003 to 2013, James was a Senior Vice President at Sotheby’s in the 20 th Century Design Department. He held the position of Visiting Curator of Decorative Arts at the Indianapolis Museum of Art from 2013 to 2015. James received his B.A. in Art History from Oberlin College, where he has been a member of the Visiting Committee of the Allen Memorial Art Museum since 2007. He currently serves on the Collections Committee of Manitoga: The Russel Wright Design Center.
