Farrell Parker is a DC-based performing artist and the owner of Artist Tax Prep - an income tax preparation firm designed for artists, by artists. Artist Tax Prep was founded in 2018 and now serves over 300 clients across the country. A proud New Jersey native, Farrell holds a BS in Business Administration from Boston University, an MFA in Classical Acting from the Shakespeare Theatre Company Academy at George Washington University, and a graduate certificate in Digital Media from American University. Over the course of her performing career, she has originated roles in eleven world premiere productions, in addition to devising & producing several sketch, stand up, and cabaret shows. She has been seen at the Kennedy Center, Arena Stage, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Co, in Shear Madness, and with The Second City - among others. Farrell serves as Treasurer on the board of the Capital Fringe Festival and is a 2024 DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities Fellowship grantee. Farrell is not a furniture artist, but has been known to craft a miniature here and there.
