Adam Manley
TFS Board President, Artist, Educator
Adam John Manley (He, Him, His) is assistant professor of Furniture Design and Woodworking at SDSU. He has taught at the Maine College of art, University of New Hampshire, and Umass Dartmouth, as well the Haystack Mountain School of Craft and Penland School of Craft. Adam has exhibited both nationally and internationally including solo exhibitions at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania university gallery, The Indianapolis Craft Center, and an upcoming exhibition at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft. He has been included in numerous group exhibitions across the country. Adam is incoming president of the board of the Furniture Society, and is co-founder, along with colleague Kerianne Quick, of the contemporary craft zine/journal, CRAFT DESERT.
