- About
Adam John Manley (He, Him, His) is associate professor of Furniture Design and Woodworking at SDSU. He has taught at the Maine College of art, University of New Hampshire, and Umass Dartmouth, as well the Haystack Mountain School of Craft, Anderson Ranch, and Penland School of Craft. Adam has exhibited both nationally and internationally, including at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania university gallery (solo show), The Indianapolis Craft Center (solo show), and recently at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft and the Mingei International Museum. Adam was president of the board of the Furniture Society from 2020 – 2022, and is co-founder, along with colleague Kerianne Quick, of the contemporary craft zine/journal, CRAFT DESERT.
