Adam John Manley (He, Him, His) is asso­ciate profes­sor of Furni­ture Design and Wood­work­ing at SDSU. He has taught at the Maine College of art, Univer­sity of New Hamp­shire, and Umass Dart­mouth, as well the Haystack Moun­tain School of Craft, Ander­son Ranch, and Penland School of Craft. Adam has exhib­ited both nation­ally and inter­na­tion­ally, includ­ing at the Indiana Univer­sity of Penn­syl­va­nia univer­sity gallery (solo show), The Indi­anapo­lis Craft Center (solo show), and recently at the Houston Center for Contem­po­rary Craft and the Mingei Inter­na­tional Museum. Adam was pres­i­dent of the board of the Furni­ture Society from 2020 – 2022, and is co-founder, along with colleague Keri­anne Quick, of the contem­po­rary craft zine/​journal, CRAFT DESERT.
