What aspects of your personal values and abilities could elevate your business idea to something truly distinctive? Have you ever wondered how to clearly communicate the value of your art to others? “Defining Your Value Proposition” is a professional development session designed to help maker-artists articulate what makes you and your work stand out in a competitive marketplace.
In this session, you will hear from artists about their challenges and successes with crafting compelling value propositions. In addition, you will learn how to craft your own value proposition — a clear, measurable, and demonstrable statement that communicates the unique value you bring to your customers. This session will also empower you to create individual positioning statements that serve as the cornerstone of your business identity, helping you stand out in the marketplace. Reflect on what makes your art and business one-of-a-kind, and leave with the tools to define and communicate that value clearly to the world.
