Tamar Katz
CEO and founder of Mend Health
Tamar Katz is the CEO and founder of Mend Health, a digital clinic for chronic pain. Her team of physical therapists recently began working with woodworkers. They’re launching a full educational and injury prevention course for woodworkers this summer with the Vermont Woodworking School. As part of that initiative, they’re launching Woodworking Rehab, the first digital platform for woodworker physical education and injury prevention, this summer. The goal of the program is to raise awareness for the importance physical health of woodworking professionals and maintain career longevity in physical professions.
Tamar is a former Olympic figure skater who understand the impact that repetitive motion can have on the body. As a professional athlete, she is no stranger to physical pain and wants to bring the same type of discipline and knowledge to other physical professions so that they can have long and healthy careers. Tamar has a Bachelor of Science and MBA from University of Pennsylvania, the Wharton School.
