Aspen Golann
Artist, Furniture Maker, Educator
Aspen Golann is furniture maker, educator and artist blending iconic early American furniture forms with social practice, historical context and fine art. She is the recipient of the 2020 Mineck Furniture Fellowship from The Society of Arts & Crafts and has received support for he work from Winterthur Museum, Anderson Ranch Arts Center, The Center for Furniture Craftsmanship and others. She teaches widely and has been published in Architectural Digest, Lost Art Press, American Period Furniture and writes for Fine Woodworking Magazine. She serves on the board of A Workshop of Our Own (MD) and as an ambassador to the board of Fine Woodworking Magazine. She holds a degree in Fine Furniture from The North Bennet Street School in Boston.
