Stephen Yusko lives and works in Cleve­land, Ohio. Using a variety of black­smithing and metal fabri­cat­ing tech­niques, he designs and makes objects that embody clean lines and purpose. Yusko has taught at several schools and univer­si­ties, includ­ing Haystack School of Crafts (ME), Penland School of Crafts (NC), and was the 2014 Fall semes­ter Windgate Artist-in-Resi­dent at State Univer­sity of New York (SUNY) at Purchase; and is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Haystack School of Crafts. He has exhib­ited his work widely includ­ing the Metal Museum (TN) and the Society for Contem­po­rary Craft (PA) has been published in several books of contem­po­rary metal­work, includ­ing 500 Metal Vessels by Lark Books. In 2011, Stephen Yusko was awarded a Creative Work­force Fellow­ship, which is a grant funded through Cuya­hoga Arts and Culture. In 2013, Yusko received an Ohio Arts Council Indi­vid­ual Artist Grant.
