Felicia Francine Dean is a designer, artist, and educator in Knoxville, TN, whose work merges craft, design, and art. Her sculptural furniture and objects explore connections between identity, culture, materiality, the history of interiors, analog and digital craft, space, and place. She is an Assistant Professor in the College of Architecture & Design’s School of Interior Architecture at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dean earned her MFA degree in Interior Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She received a BA in Studio Art from Florida State University.
