Felicia Dean

Felicia Francine Dean is a designer, artist, and educa­tor in Knoxville, TN, whose work merges craft, design, and art. Her sculp­tural furni­ture and objects explore connec­tions between iden­tity, culture, mate­ri­al­ity, the history of inte­ri­ors, analog and digital craft, space, and place. She is an Assis­tant Profes­sor in the College of Archi­tec­ture & Design’s School of Inte­rior Archi­tec­ture at the Univer­sity of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dean earned her MFA degree in Inte­rior Archi­tec­ture from the Univer­sity of North Carolina at Greens­boro. She received a BA in Studio Art from Florida State University.
