Red Oak, Shaker Tape, Linseed Oil, Beeswax / 2021 17.75W X 27H X 16.75D inchesThis post and rung chair was hewed from a greenwood log, using an axe, froe, hammer and wedge. With the exception of a power drill, only hand tools were used for the process, primarily a drawknife and spokeshave.

Shaker Side Table
Cherry, Poplar, Danish Oil Finish / 2021 23.5L X 16D X 27.75H inchesThis cherry side table was inspired by Shaker forms. The photo features the half-blind hand-cut dovetails on the front of the drawer. The drawer is made with poplar and is constructed using hand-cut dovetails.

I Wanted to be Soft Like Butter
Steel, Black Palm Wood, Leather, Sterling Silver / 2021 Knife 12.5L X 1.75H X 1W inches; Blade 9 inches; Chain 19 inchesThe blade was forged by hand and with a power hammer. Six holes were punched and drifted on the blade and one on the tang, all adorned with stainless steel rings. A 19 inch chain was attached to the ring on the handle, hand-formed in sterling silver.

Scalloped Edge Dust Pan and Brush Set
Steel, Patina, Copper/Walnut, Natural Tampico Fibers, Varnish / 2022 10.25L X 8.25D X 3.5H inches/6L X 5H X 0.875W inchesThe dust pan was cold-formed from 16-gauge sheet metal using a hammer and an anvil. A leather strap can be threaded through the rivet for hanging, if desired. The brush mirrors the scalloped edges of the dust pan and is chamfered for comfort.
