Aleya Lanteigne

Aleya Lanteigne (she/​they) is a queer artist orig­i­nally from Indi­anapo­lis Indiana, who currently lives and works in San Diego Cali­for­nia. They are a grad­u­ate of San Diego State Univer­sity (MFA-Furni­ture Design and Wood­work­ing) and Herron School of Art and Design (BFAs-Furni­ture Design and Sculp­ture). They have shown work across the country, from Wash­ing­ton D.C to Los Angeles, and are involved in the local Arts commu­nity in San Diego. They can be found around the city teach­ing Contem­po­rary Craft Work­shops, installing artwork in museums/​galleries, and disman­tling furni­ture in unexpected places.
