Wood Studio Fellowship Pocosin Arts School of Fine Craft
The Pocosin Wood Studio Fellowship offers a $6,500 stipend, housing, meals when the dining hall is open, and access to a communal kitchen. Fellows receive unlimited studio access, a private room, and participate in the ten-day Summer Residency program. This role requires up to 40 hours per week, focusing on studio coordination, equipment maintenance, and ensuring a safe, productive environment for students and instructors. The program runs from May 10 – August 10, 2025, and candidates must have a car and a valid driver’s license due to the rural location. This fellowship provides hands-on experience managing a studio, networking opportunities with professional artists, and a chance to join a supportive arts community. The Fellow is required to attend all classes in the wood studio and can participate as a student, building connections that will benefit them long after the program concludes.
