Join the chair nerds for a two week intensive on seat weaving and chair caning.
Perfect for someone interested in seat weaving as a business, hobby, or to enhance your furniture making practice. This series of classes is geared toward beginners but is great for intermediate seat weavers to perfect their skills.
We will cover the basics of Laced Cane, Pressed Cane, Shaker Tape, Fiber Rush and Splint Reed restorations, while giving you invaluable tips to simplify the process. Save $150 on all 5 classes by signing up for boot camp. All materials and tools are included in class fees. Down payment of half the boot camp fee holds your spot. Bring a friend and get an additional $100 off…for each of you!

Spring 2020 Boot Camp specifics:
Monday-Friday, April 20 – 24. Laced Caning. 10am-5pm
Use the weekend between classes to explore the sights, sounds, and tastes of Asheville or return home to rest.
Monday, April 27. Fiber Rush. 10am-4pm
Tuesday, April 28. Fiber Rush. 10am-4pm
Wednesday, April 29. Splint Weaving. 10am-4pm
Thursday, April 30. Shaker Tape Weaving. 10am-3pm
Friday, May 1. Pressed Caning + Finish/Review. 10am‑2/4pm.
