The Sass-O-Matic
A FUNdraiser for Frogwood Artists’ Collaborative & The Furniture Society

Created by artists Michael Hosaluk, Graeme Priddle, Kevin Jesequel, and Alex Gupton, the Sass-O-Matic was constructed to honor the late, great, Paul Sasso — a fellow woodworker, furniture maker, educator, a long time Frogwood participant, and all around fun human!
Frogwood Artists’ Collaborative and The Furniture Society are joining forces to both raise money in support of two worthy causes — Frogwood programs & scholarships, the TFS’ Alphonse Mattia Scholarship Fund, and to honor Paul’s legacy.
The Sass-O-Matic will be on display at this year’s TFS conference (FS25) in Syracuse, NY June 26 – 28. Anyone interested in the chance to win this one-of-a-kind piece and/or wants to support these initiatives, will have the opportunity to purchase a Lucky Draw ticket online or at the conference.

Michael Hosaluk“Paul always said after a night of debauchery that he’d ‘been beat up by a good time.’ He always brought shenanigans to any gathering or event that I was a part of when with this wonderful man. This piece we made at Frogwood Collaboration contains the spirit of Paul Sasso that remains in all who were touched by his madness.”
Frogwood is an invitational collaborative event that hosts up to 60 artists biannually. In May, artists gathered for a week long event and created over 150 pieces of art. All of the works were made in a collaborative process where the artists designed, envisioned and created works that would otherwise be impossible to make. Frogwood is committed to fostering creativity and sharing skills. Our artists come to be enriched, enlivened, to connect and play. Frogwood is a 501c(3) public charity dedicated to arts training, education and collaborative interaction. To learn more about what we do visit www.frogwoodcollab.com
