Julie Siglin

Julie Siglin has served as the Executive Director of the Wharton Esherick Museum since 2016. The fourth director since the museum first opened in 1972, Siglin first became involved as a volunteer docent in 2005 before joining the staff in 2015. Since her appointment in 2016, she has led the museum through its first branding process and a master campus plan and has tripled the museum budget and staff. Having worked in the nonprofit sector since the early 2000’s, Julie has held a variety of roles in nonprofits in and around Philadelphia and continues to serve the field through several professional societies and volunteer roles with other mission-driven local and national organizations. She holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Arts Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
