The Slide Wars - 2025

“Slide Wars” is a fun and informal get-together at FS conferences where attendees show digital images and talk about their work, on the big screen to a large, mostly informal audience.

Think:“Instagram in person, you’re narrating, in hyperspace.”

Your work will be projected on a giant screen and you will be encouraged to narrate your thoughts and aspirations about your work. Everyone attending the conference can participate!

How to be a part of the fun:
‑Email Hayami up to FIVE (5) digital images or 2 minute video.
-Include your name and title of piece in the email.

At the event:
- You will see your name up on the screen and then your first piece
- You will have 2.5 minutes to talk about your work

Please send your “Slide Wars” images to Hayami:
hayami.arakawa@gmail.com

Participation is open to all and strongly encouraged!

Fine Print:
Late entries are subject to review by a panel of un-affiliated arbiters of the Furniture Society and will be scrutinized with extreme prejudice!
