Spooncarving with Abby Mechanic

Join TFS Board Pres­i­dent and furni­ture maker Abby Mechanic as she demon­strates how to create curves, volume, and 3‑dimensional forms out of wood while making a one-of-a-kind spoon in this hand’s-on workshop.

Partic­i­pants will begin with a pre-cut wooden spoon blank and use hand tools to shape their spoons to their desired form. After sanding and sealing, partic­i­pants will have a finished product to be proud of!
