Have Chisels - Will Travel

Presentation

Saturday, Jun 28 2:30 – 3:30 in Everson Museum of Art

Andy Buck and Katie Hudnall will each give an artist talk looking at the work they have made through the lens of place rather than chronology.

They will highlight the creative impact of “place” through their unique experiences with travel, fellowships, and residencies, and the ways that their locations have influenced the works made there – directly, indirectly, intentionally and subconsciously.

This talk will introduce their work (as well as a list of different residency opportunities) to a new audience, highlight how particular locations have fostered new friendships and professional relationships, and serve as a reminder that travel and change can have meaningful, surprising and positive effects on an art practice.
