Wells Mason

Wells Mason is an Amer­i­can designer and sculp­tor based in Coup­land, Texas. He founded Iron­wood Indus­tries in 1995. He has exhib­ited his work in galleries and museums around the country, and he’s been featured in count­less regional, national, and inter­na­tional publi­ca­tions. He’s a member of the Amer­i­can Craft Council, the Furni­ture Society, the Mid-South Sculp­ture Alliance, and the Inter­na­tional Sculp­ture Center, plus he serves on the board of the Hunt­ing­ton Sculp­ture Foun­da­tion. He’s also a writer, curator, and commu­nity activist – with a history of impos­si­ble-sound­ing commu­nity projects. These days, he focuses on studio furni­ture and contem­po­rary sculp­ture.
