Janine Wang
Janine makes sense of the world through making, especially through the crafts. She was trained as an architect, and went on to furniture design school in order to get closer to the materials we work with. Through the support of many mentors and work environments, she now continues to explore the intricate ways we build things by hand, and teaches woodturning (Bucks County Community College) and designing and building with community (Tiny WPA) as well as all kinds of assorted workshops and topics at craft schools around the country. She lives (and occasionally works) with her partner Brian Skalaski and two cats in Philadelphia.
