Christina Boy

Christina Boy's love for classic modern furniture started when she managed the showroom of an office and commercial design firm in Bonn, Germany. After moving to the US she received her degree in Craft and Material Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA and then expanded her studies during her 2-year Core Fellowship at the Penland School of Crafts in Western NC.

Upon returning to Virginia, Christina built a studio on her in-laws farm and is now a full-time studio artist with her shop located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Madison, Virginia. Christina has taught workshops at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Penland School of Craft, A Workshop of Our Own, Pocosin Arts, Chestnut Creek School of the Arts, and Sawtooth School for Visual Art. Christina shows and sells her work at Fine Art and Craft shows on the East Coast. When she isn’t busy in her studio, she can be found outside taking walks, working on a large jigsaw puzzle, in the kitchen processing the ample produce her husband grows every year, or at a local craft Vineyard where she serves wine on the weekends.
