Amy Forsyth

After a roundabout journey through multiple disciplines, including music, Amy Forsyth received degrees in architecture from Penn State and Princeton Universities. After teaching architecture for a few years, she discovered The Furniture Society, where she met and studied with many luminaries of the field, and wrote articles about them, often illustrated, which were published in Woodwork Magazine, American Craft, and others. She served on The Furniture Society Board of Trustees as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board, for the Furniture Studio series, and edited the newsletter, “Furniture Matters”
