Acquir­ing mate­ri­als can some­times feel intim­i­dat­ing. Partic­i­pants will learn all about plan­ning + purchas­ing mate­ri­als, specif­i­cally wood. Be it at the lumber yard, hard­ware store, or an online supplier, our goal is to help you build confi­dence in knowing what you are looking for, asking the right ques­tions, and even how to trans­port mate­ri­als safely. Let’s demys­tify the lumberyard together!

This program has been devel­oped specif­i­cally for wood­work­ers, but all mediums are welcome. The shared infor­ma­tion can be applied to personal, indus­trial, or academic shops.
