Machines, Tools + Equipment
You have a space, now you need the tools to do the job!
Wednesday, February 14, 2024 / 7 – 8:30pm EST
Learn about researching and acquiring new or used machines/tools. Once you have your shop space, outfitting it with equipment comes into play. We will discuss when to invest in a new machine or tool, resources to look at, and even how to plan for delivery. It is always fun to bring home new equipment; this presentation will provide you with the information you need to make that happen!
Rebecca Juliette-Duex and Charles Thompson from The Chairmaker’s Toolbox will be joining us this session to share more about the organization, specifically the Toolbox and Living Tool Projects.
This program has been developed specifically for woodworkers, but all mediums are welcome. The shared information can be applied to personal, industrial, or academic shops.

The Furniture Society would like to thank the Schooner Foundation and The Bresler Foundation for supporting this initiative. Without their support, the Nuts & Bolts professional development programming and scholarships would not be possible!
