Amber Lasciak worked in Film and TV, producing and shooting documentaries for 15 years but saw an innovative way to keep usable materials out of landfill and put her film career aside to start her company REDU. REDU is a design/ build company that makes sustainable furniture and builds commercial and residential interiors from 99% reuse materials.
REDU “rescues” scraps and dry-waste materials from the surrounding local businesses and construction sites and transforms these so-called waste materials into items of utility and beauty. Building her company REDU and being part of the solution, has been the happiest days of her life.
