This weekend will be filled with gallery & studio tours in Knoxville, TN and a day in Gatlinburg, TN at Arrowmont including: a presentation by Arrowmont Resident Artist Gina Siepel, a demonstration by exhibiting artist Alexandra Mavrikis, show & share, and the opening reception for the FS members exhibition at Arrowmont’s Jerry Drown Wood Studio Gallery.

A Thousand Forests in an Acorn: Recent Projects and Explorations of Sustainability
Interdisciplinary artist and woodworker Gina Siepel will discuss their recently completed five-year project, “To Understand a Tree,” and their explorations of forest ecology, environmental philosophy, climate consciousness, and sustainability in woodworking.

TFS Members Exhibition at Arrowmont’s Drown Gallery
March 17 — May 16, 2025
Opening Reception: Saturday, March 15, 5 – 6:30pm EST
The Furniture Society and Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts teamed up to provide an exhibition opportunity for TFS members. This was a juried exhibition and tree artists were chosen to exhibit their work in Arrowmont’s Drown Wood Studio Gallery.
The opening reception for this exhibition will take place during the regional event at Arrowmont.
