Inter­dis­ci­pli­nary artist and wood­worker Gina Siepel will discuss their recently completed five-year project, ​“To Under­stand a Tree,” and their explo­rations of forest ecology, envi­ron­men­tal philos­o­phy, climate conscious­ness, and sustain­abil­ity in wood­work­ing.

Opening Recep­tion: Satur­day, March 15, 5 – 6:30pm EST

The Furni­ture Society and Arrow­mont School of Arts & Crafts teamed up to provide an exhi­bi­tion oppor­tu­nity for TFS members. This was a juried exhi­bi­tion and tree artists were chosen to exhibit their work in Arrowmont’s Drown Wood Studio Gallery.
The opening recep­tion for this exhi­bi­tion will take place during the regional event at Arrowmont.

The Furni­ture Society would like to thank every­one on the 2024 & 2025 Regional Events Commit­tee and Exhibit­ing Oppor­tu­ni­ties Commit­tee for their hard work and dedi­ca­tion in plan­ning this event and exhibition.
