- About
www.vivianchiudesigns.com — Vivian Chiu is artist and designer working primarily in wood. She is a graduate of Columbia University’s MFA program (’19 Sculpture) and the Rhode Island School of Design’s BFA program (’11 Furniture Design). An individual that likes to push herself mentally and physically, she believes in the value of hard work, a philosophy that drives many of her designs. Much of her work is a mixture of sculptural and functional, and shows her interest in the materiality of wood. She is currently an adjunct faculty at VCU Craft/Material Studies in the Wood Area.
