Talia Drury

I grew up in the midwest and received my Bach­e­lor’s in Indus­trial Design from Iowa State Univer­sity and finished my MFA in Furni­ture Design from The School of Amer­i­can Crafts at Rochester Insti­tute of Tech­nol­ogy at the end of 2024. I have focused my inter­ests in art and mark-making around my memo­ries outside as a child and my contin­u­ing curios­ity to learn about what exists outside as I wander differ­ent wooded paths. I just finished as the resi­dent artist at RIT this past school year where I made work inspired by seeds and other small objects on my walks. I am contin­u­ing to pursue my work as one of the Artist’s in Resi­dence at Arrow­mont this year where I am contin­u­ing to make work inspired by the world around me.
