Michaela Stone

Michaela Crie Stone works in Rock­port, Maine. After receiv­ing her Bach­e­lor’s Degree from Skid­more College in sculp­ture and paint­ing, Michaela attended the Center for Furni­ture Crafts­man­ship, first as a student, then as a studio fellow, and now as a faculty member. Her work has been shown nation­ally and received numer­ous acco­lades, includ­ing grants from the Chenven Foun­da­tion, the Ellis-Beau­re­gard Foun­da­tion, the Society of Arts and Crafts, the Maine Arts Commis­sion, and the Furni­ture Society. Michaela has also been awarded several esteemed resi­den­cies across the country.
