Michael Puryear is a self taught, nationally acclaimed furniture designer, and maker who mastered his craft through reading and experimentation. Imaginative and discerning clients will enjoy working with this thoughtful, highly creative designer/maker to address their furniture needs.
Michael Puryear’s designs are infused with “shibui”, the Japanese term for simple elegance. His disciplined designs often include curved elements and contrasting woods. Michael works primarily in wood because of its warmth and appeal to the hand.
