Marcus Papay is a furni­ture designer working from his studio shop in San Diego, Cali­for­nia. Marcus creates unique works that incor­po­rate the char­ac­ter­is­tics of furni­ture design from both the past and the present. His indi­vid­ual style brings in modern aesthet­ics with processes that embrace tradi­tional design and the hand-made. Marcus’ work subtly evokes an inter­pre­ta­tion of recog­niz­able design that repre­sents the South­ern Cali­for­nia lifestyle while insist­ing on a quality that coun­ters the dispos­able mental­ity of product design.
