Kate Hawes

I am a furni­ture maker and an artist. I grad­u­ated from North Bennet Street School in ​’98, have made a lot of custom furni­ture, some repro­duc­tions, my own furni­ture designs, sculp­tural pieces, and, what Carl Andre calls, ​“useless objects”. I live and work in Brook­lyn, where I teach people of all ages and back­grounds a little bit about how to do wood­work­ing at Makeville Studio. kate​hawes​.net
