- About
I retired from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2012, after teaching furniture design for thirty years. Seven decades plus have allowed me to do lots of things. As a kid, I enjoyed building things and taking them apart, I built my first gas-powered go cart in fourth grade and my first sailboat in seventh grade with numerous tree houses in-between. My adult life passions haven’t changed much. From toy design to building children’s museums, from restoring historical medical devices to building and sailing a trimaran. I’ve always loved exploration and experimentation. Still do. Since retiring, I’ve focused more on boats, one gas, one electric. Studio is still a focus, always will be!
