Interesting opportunity to display and sell your work while sharing your knowledge and teaching workshops at an up-scale Chesapeake Bay Resort.
We are a rural up-scale resort on the Chesapeake Bay (about an hour east of Richmond) seeking a temporary artist in residence to help accentuate our guest experience. We have created a brand new maker’s studio, where we would like to engage our guests in the arts or ceramics, wood-working, weaving, painting, and various other arts and crafts.
I’m looking for a highly-talented artist to display their work, having an opportunity to sell it to our guests, and engage with interested guests about their art, possibly leading classes and workshops.
This would be a fantastic opportunity for the right person. We are able to provide lodging and food. We will also compensate for workshops and classes.
