Spring Residency Pocosin Arts
Do you need a week to work on that art project you just can’t get to at home? Or three weeks for a deep dive into your practice? The Spring Residency lets you take it one week at a time. Artists can apply for any of three five-day sessions in the metalsmithing, ceramics, or wood studio, or work in other media in our flex studio. The Smith Lab is also open for those looking to supplement their work with digital fabrication. All studios will be staffed with a coordinator to help with equipment or studio-related questions during the workday. Selected artists may participate in more than one session. Artists at all stages of their careers are welcome but must be capable of using studio equipment independently.
Participants are responsible for providing their own materials and meals.
Session 1: April 10 – 14
Session 2: April 17 – 21
Session 3: April 24 – 28
Residency Fee: $250 + studio fee
Housing Fee: $125 – $450 per week, depending on selection
