TFS Social Media Intern Job Description:

The Furni­ture Society (TFS) is looking for a driven, creative, and orga­nized thinker to join our commu­ni­ca­tions team. This is a great learn­ing oppor­tu­nity for anyone willing to help enhance and elevate our brand, create and share content, all while build­ing their own marketing skills.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create stories, reels, written, graphic, and video content to be shared on multi­ple social media platforms
  • Assist with the design and execu­tion of social media campaigns
  • Elevate TFS’ pres­ence and brand on Insta­gram and Facebook
  • Help develop strate­gies for captur­ing target audi­ence and increase current community engagement.
  • Assist with social media analyt­ics and reporting
  • Excel­lent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly orga­nized, driven, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to prior­i­tize and meet deadlines. 
  • Monthly meet­ings with staff and members of communications team

Job Type:

Remote, part-time, flex­i­ble hours, 1‑year position/​internship.

Pay:

$15/​hour

Bene­fits for the dura­tion of the contract:

Sched­ule:

Post 3X per week aver­ag­ing 2 – 4 hours per week to create content

Expe­ri­ence:

Expe­ri­ence navi­gat­ing a variety of social media plat­forms includ­ing: Insta­gram, Face­book, X, Tik Tok, and Canva.
Ability to write text, edit text and photos, and create videos and reels.
Demon­strated expe­ri­ence helping to build a brand for an indi­vid­ual, a company, or other organization.
