Part-Time Faculty, Woodturning Bucks County Community College
The college features an exquisite woodshop with 8 full-sized Oneway lathes and every auxiliary woodturning capability and equipment imaginable. Candidates must have an earned Master’s degrees in a related field and be open to teaching a diverse group of community college students.
Minimum Requirements:
Earned Master’s degree in Woodworking, Furniture Design, Sculpture, or a closely related Visual Arts field.
Working knowledge of woodworking equipment, especially lathes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience with “between center” or spindle turning and “bowl” or faceplate turning.
Experience in higher education, preferably with community college students and Pedagogy.
Demonstrated ability to teach Woodturning effectively.
