- About
Cameron Block is a designer maker from St. Catharines, Ontario. He is currently a student enrolled in the Craft & Design: Furniture program at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario.
“I enjoy the unique problem-solving challenges that wood poses. Creating forms that are comfortable, beautiful, and functional is something that I always strive for. When starting a new project, I identify skills that I want to develop and design pieces that will challenge me to grow out of my comfort zone. The pieces often end up showcasing the method by which they were created, flaws and all. When I look back at these pieces, they have an endearing quality that captures the spirit of learning and growth.”
