Virtual Tour and Discussion of Suite Américaine, solo exhibition by BA Harrington Center for Craft

Join artist BA Harring­ton and Sarah Darro, Gallery Manager at the Center for Craft, for a virtual tour of the exhi­bi­tion Suite Améri­caine followed by a discus­sion with cura­tors Laura Mays and Deirdre Visser.

Artist and mate­r­ial culture scholar, BA Harring­ton, and Sarah Darro, Gallery Manager at the Center for Craft, will lead a virtual tour of the exhi­bi­tion Suite Améri­caine followed by a discus­sion with cura­tors Laura Mays and Deirdre Visser. BA Harring­ton is the recip­i­ent of the Center for Craft’s inau­gural Craft Research Fund Artist Fellow­ship and is a profes­sor of wood­work­ing at Indiana Univer­sity of Penn­syl­va­nia. Deirdre Visser is Curator of the Arts at the Cali­for­nia Insti­tute of Inte­gral Studies. Laura Mays is the Program Direc­tor of the Fine Wood­work­ing Program at the Krenov School of Fine Furni­ture. Mays and Visser are them­selves former Craft Research Fund recip­i­ents and co-curated the seminal exhi­bi­tion Making a Seat at the Table: Women Trans­form Wood­work­ing.
