Video Editing Intern
The Furniture Society is looking for someone with experience to help us create and/or edit videos for online learning.

The Furniture Society is moving into the realm of online learning and we need some help.
- Do you have experience with editing and creating online content?
- Are you interested in engaging with craft, design, and making communities?
- Looking to gain internship credit or gaining experience working with an arts non-profit?
Join The Furniture Society Staff & Program Committee to help produce online programs for our new initiative — FS Connects
This is an unpaid, volunteer position.
The ideal candidate:
- Interested in internship credit. Someone with experience in creating and/or editing videos/online learning.
- Interested in engaging with a variety of communities in the production of a series of thematic, online content
Job duties:
- video editing
- clipping, trimming, cropping
- inputting logos and possible links for donation page
- knowledge of editing software
- ability to splice, fade, overlay, and modify media relatively quickly
Requirements:
- Ability to work remotely with TFS staff and TFS Program Committee to help produce online learning content.
- Intermediate level skills in and interest in working with a craft non-profit focusing in Furniture, Craft, Community, Design, and Making.
- Access to computer and editing software
Time Commitment:
- Participating in up to two monthly Program Committee calls
- Between 2 – 5 hours of dedicated editing and production work (estimated) per week.
