The East Tennessee Woodworker’s Guild and the Knoxville Arts and Culture Alliance present The 21st Master Woodworkers Show at the Emporium Gallery in Knoxville, Tenn., November 5 – 7, 2021.
The goal of this biennial show is to highlight the work of craftspeople and artists in East Tennessee and the surrounding region. The 2021 show calls for all types of woodwork, from traditional to whimsical, in fine furniture, cabinetry, turning, sculpture, and lutherie. Selected works will be displayed in a gallery setting. Exhibitors are encouraged to display portfolios along with their featured piece(s). Although there are no formal booths, exhibitors are encouraged to be present as much as possible. The 2019 Master Woodworkers Show was a huge success, featuring 32 artists from 4 states. Over 2500 people attended the 3‑day show and several craftspeople garnered significant sales from the gallery floor. There are no commission fees on any work sold during this weekend show.
Entries will be selected by a formal jury. The three-person jury panel will consist of;

The application deadline is August 1st, 2021. The entry fee is $65.00 for up to three (3) pieces of work, with an additional fee of $20.00 per additional piece over three. The application and images of your entries must be submitted by the August 1st deadline. Images will be converted to a blind, numbered digital slideshow for the jury panel. Entrants will be notified of the jury panel’s selections in early September.
