Commu­ni­ca­tions Manager

The Center for Furni­ture Crafts­man­ship (CFC) is a nonprofit, inter­na­tional school dedi­cated to provid­ing the best possi­ble educa­tion in wood crafts­man­ship and design. We are seeking a Commu­ni­ca­tions Manager to imple­ment a broad range of market­ing and commu­ni­ca­tion efforts in support of our mission and programs. This posi­tion reports to the Exec­u­tive Direc­tor and works collab­o­ra­tively with program and administrative staff.

Posi­tion Overview

Working closely with the Exec­u­tive Direc­tor and other staff, the Commu­ni­ca­tions Manager orga­nizes and imple­ments CFC’s public-facing commu­ni­ca­tions strat­egy to promote programs, gallery exhi­bi­tions, fundrais­ing efforts, and the work of our students, faculty, and Fellows. The ideal candi­date combines creativ­ity with atten­tion to detail and has a demon­strated passion for educa­tion, craft, and design.
