Charles Radtke Exhibit and Chipstone Galleries Tour at Milwaukee Art Museum
The first part of this tour gives guests the unique experience of touring the MAM exhibition, Charles Radtke: Contained. Charles Radtke himself, along with conference keynote speaker Dr. Glenn Adamson will guide the tour of this first retrospective show of Wisconsin-based furniture maker.
The second part of the tour, a Chipstone Foundation curator will guide guests through the five Chipstone galleries at the Milwaukee Art Museum: NEO, The Dave Project, The Art of Carving, The Chipstone Cosmos, and Mrs. M.-----'s Cabinet. Since 1999, the Chipstone Foundation has organized over forty exhibits at the Milwaukee Art Museum that apply innovative curatorial practice to their renowned collection of American furniture, British ceramics, and historic prints.

Please arrange for your own transportation to MAM. It is a nice 20 minute walk, or a 1 mile uber ride from MIAD. On this day the front entrance will be difficult to navigate and their parking lot will be closed. Please use the overhead bridge to enter the front of the building or the lake front entrance.
