Alicia Dietz recently traded a pilot helmet for hand plane, following her passion for craft after a ten-year, world-wide career as an officer and Blackhawk Helicopter Maintenance Test Pilot in the U.S. Army. She holds two Woodworking and Furniture Making Degrees from Vermont Woodworking School (2012, 2013), and an MFA in Craft and Material Studies at VCU (Virginia Commonwealth Virginia, 2016). She lives and works in Richmond, Virginia.
